back in time: porto (5)
a trip to the Boa Nova Tea House (in Leça da Palmeira just outside Porto),
one of Álvaro Siza's first built projects.
I love the way it is one with the landscape.
the bottom image shows a swimming pool between the rocks, also by Siza, but from 1996.
it was empty, but you could tell it must be amazing with water,
just rocks and concrete and water.

And one more smile!! That's so good to see my city here on your blog! The Casa de Chã (Tea House) is one of my favourite works from Siza Vieira, I love the way he integrate the house and the nature. It's an amazing place!
