It's after ten a clock, I'm still in the office issuing drawings and feeling very sorry for myself.

We're moving out of our flat tomorrow. The boxes will take 14 days by boat to arrive in Brooklyn. I still can't believe this is happening. I'll be in London for a few more months, but T. is leaving on Sunday. But before that, tomorrow night, we're going to Porto for a short break. I'm looking forward to a couple of quiet days without any duties at all and to taking lots of pictures. Hopefully. Back next week.

my life feels a bit like this today.

too many things at work that should have been done by yesterday.
so many things to do, so many things to remember.

we'll be putting everything we own into boxes this weekend, and I'm not looking forward to it.

I recently bought an SX-70 on ebay and have been trying it out over the last weekends. So far I prefer to use it without an ND filter as by turning the dark/light wheel all the way to dark the shutter speed is great and the images don't blur. I love the fact that it's an SLR and that I have perfect control over what I want to focus on.

I plan to take it out a bit more this weekend.

dress rehearsal

The dress I am making for a special occasion next week is almost finished.

It's made of black and white cross-weave linen, the yoke is my granddad's old lace tablecloth on top of the cross-weave.

I'm very excited.
